The responsibilities of this office are:

  • prepare budgets and investments for Council approval
  • pays bills for all City departments, payroll, insurance and retirement for all City employees
  • attend meetings of the City Council and Public Board of Works & Safety
  • records and keeps the minutes of the meetings
  • maintains any grants received through the City of North Vernon
  • assist the State Board of Accounts with all records kept in this office
